Argentine Red Shrimp, also known as Angel Red Shrimp, is referred to in English as Argentine Red Shrimp or Langostinos, and in Spanish as Langostino Austral. They grow in deep waters at depths of 200 meters and are wild-caught. Typically measuring 15-20 cm in length, they can reach up to 23 cm. Immediately frozen at ultra-low temperatures after capture to lock in their fresh and sweet flavor. The flesh is firm, exceptionally bouncy, and richly sweet, with a vibrant red and plump body, making it a prized ingredient in many top-tier restaurants. Versatile in cooking methods, suitable for grilling, frying, baking, and more. The shrimp heads can also be deep-fried or used to make soup, allowing you to savor their unparalleled freshness!
